Video Text: The biggest challenge is there are so many steps in
the production. The fish larvae are very fragile and they demand
specific environmental conditions and specific food--the food is a big
challenge. Several places have been working on this problem for 10 years
now and we're getting closer to the goal of learning how to raise them,
but there's still a ways to go. There's a great prospect which is, if
you can learn how to raise one of these species, chances are you can
raise 90 percent of the fish on the coral reefs. So, as long as we can
learn the methodology to one species, it will apply to a lot of other
species.
