Video Text: Anatole Wieck, Professor of Music, School of Performing Arts, University of Maine: "If the kids from the poorest neighborhoods did not have access to this music school, they would never get involved with classical music. But classical music opens the doors into high culture, which of course opens the door to other things--intellectual life. Perhaps some of the students will become professional musicians, and the ones that do not will think of going to the university."
